A Fishing License as well as applicable tags should be obtained prior to your trip. Prices: Oregon - $16.75 online. Washington - $8.00 online. Many of our guides sell them onboard or can direct you to a location you can pick one up on day of trip. Salmon / steelhead / sturgeon / halibut tags are included with all daily licenses in Oregon. Punch cards (free) are required in Washington.

Portland Fishing Guides

The Columbia River Gorge, provides excellent guided fishing for white sturgeon averaging 30 to 80 pounds each, with oversize sturgeon weighing as much as 400 pounds or more. Chinook salmon fishing is also available on the Columbia River.

Chinook are also known as the king salmon or spring salmon. Starting in March, the Spring Chinook are the most desired for their excellent taste. Chinook salmon average 15-20 pounds.
